Calling all local musicians! Porchfest Sebastopol has officially opened the window for band submissions for our TWO events this year. Pass this along to your musician friends.

Saturday, June 6th at Sebastopol Center for the Arts
Saturday, September 12 in a Sebastopol neighborhood (TBD)

Go to this link and submit your band’s info under “My band wants to play.” Describe briefly your act and provide links to video or webpages. Let us know which event you can play or both. While we strive to accommodate all entries, that is of course, not possible. Deadline is May 1st.

We try to feature local, original music from Sonoma County although we have had some regional players as well. We support music of all ages and abilities. Additionally, though we love them, tribute and cover bands are not what our festival is about.

Get Involved – Sebastopol PorchFest

Thanks and keep up the good work of making music.

Big Thank Yous

Porchfest Sebastopol would love to THANK all 42 bands who played this year.  We know some of them had other gigs that day and we salute their efforts to keep music local and accessible.  They played for free!

Please people, if you can, SUPPORT THESE ARTISTS when you see them playing around town and support them on the social media.  They all probably have Venmo accounts which can be found.

This year we've partnered with the Sebastopol Center for The Arts (SebArts) to be the central hub for PorchFest. SebArts was founded in 1988 and as many of you know, part of it's mission is to "...[cultivate] creativity and [inspire] appreciation for the transformative power of art." It only makes sense that Sebastopol PorchFest and SebArts came together to promote and cultivate this year's lineup of talented acts that will perform across seven stages. Three of those stages are located at SebArts.

In conjunction with PorchFest this year, SebArts opens its Art Trails preview. Starting September 13, some of the work of the ~150 artists who will participate in Art Trails this year will be on display in the galleries at SebArts. Please take some time on PorchFest day to visit the galleries and see the work of these local fine artists.

July 30, Sebastopol, CA – Well, we’ve officially applied for a permit to use existing stages in Ives Park AND make new “porchlet” stages throughout the park. While we haven’t been given the official OK from the City of Sebastopol yet, we are FOR SURE going to have 4 stages at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts.

Details and lineups coming soon but we’re hoping for 7 stages and 40+ bands.

  • 2 acoustic stages (south patio and parking lot)
  • 1 youth-based School of Rock stage on the north patio
  • 1 main indoor stage for the 7pm after hours show featuring Flowstone with Ellie James opening. There will be a $10 ticket donation for an after hours wristband. There’s a maximum of 250 people allowed inside so donate in advance to reserve your wristband!
  • Beer + Wine garden
  • Food trucks in the SebArts parking lot

Thanks everyone for your patience. (Hardly) Porchfest lives!

Flowstone
